Arthritis and Asthma can’t hurt you anymore, if you believe in Naturopathy!

Naturopathy treatment for Arthritis and Asthma

Arthritis and Asthma can’t hurt you anymore, if you believe in Naturopathy!

By: - May 9, 2017

The sizzling wind and baking heat make you urge for monsoon’s magic spell. However, summers are not that bad. Your bones get strengthened and you get a really nice sleep in summer. Your body secretes more Serotonin and improves mood in the summer.

Summers are beautiful!

That is if you aren’t suffering from ailments like Asthma and Arthritis. The culprit that makes the Arthritis go worst in the summer are the Anti-inflammatory drugs [NSADIs] which make the skin extra sensitive and more prone to burns and rashes. And the intense heat and humidity may result in acute exacerbation for the patients with asthma.

Naturopathy treatment for Asthma

Asthma is characterized by breathlessness and coughing due to narrowing of the lungs’ airways. And the best treatment for Asthma is to control the symptoms. The main triggers for an Asthma attack are Dust, Pollen & Mold, Polluted Air, Humidity, and Smoking. Clearly, they all relate to the everyday lifestyle.

World Asthma Day is commemorated on the first Tuesday of May every year.

Because a quarter of a million people die every year due to Asthma and the numbers are growing. The only silver lining to this story is that Naturopathy and Yoga can actually improve the condition of the patient.

  • – Apply poultice to the chest, abdomen and upper back to reduce the inflammation
  • – Discover your allergies and minimize exposure to them through environment and food
  • – Do not consume junk food, instead have a diet rich in Minerals and Vitamin B6, B12 & C
  • – Reduce Histamine in the diet if the patient is Histamine intolerant
  • – Do breathing exercises like Bhramari Pranayam, Anulom – Vilom, and Bhastrika surbhedi
  • – Include vegetables like fenugreek, drumstick, carrots, cabbage, tinda etc. in the diet
  • – Avoid fermented food like beer, wine, vinegar, curd, and fruits like banana and pineapple

Through a natural approach for the treatment, a person can reduce the symptoms of Asthma and even eradicate the disease. At Nimba Nature Cure Village, you can allow the Mother Nature to bring back the perfect balance of the body’s energies, thereby curing the disease.

Naturopathy treatment for Arthritis

Arthritis is basically a term to refer pain in the joints due to degeneration. But the cause for joint pain can be anything from the 100 types of Arthritis. It is considered to be the leading cause of disability in the world. And it gets worse as the time progresses.

If you don’t have Arthritis now, do all that to prevent it.

In India, nearly 180 million people are affected by Arthritis; this is more than any infamous disease like diabetes and cancer. It is considered as the result of ageing, this is why Naturopathy is considered the only shield and hope against Arthritis.

  • – Take alternate Hot & Cold water hydrotherapy for improved blood circulation
  • – Use Hydro-thermic compress and message to relieve the congestion at the swollen area
  • – Try to reduce the use of NSAIDs as they relive the symptom but aggravate the condition
  • – Have a healthy diet which doesn’t harm joint and can promote healing of the joints
  • – Try to keep the body weight in control and try to reduce the pressure on joints
  • – Reduce eating nightshade vegetables like tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, peppers, and tobacco

Restricting the severity of Arthritis is very much important for the patient. And Naturopathy is the only science which can give a totally healthy lifestyle to a person. At Nimba Nature Cure Village, you can use the natural remedies under the supervision and guidance of the experts.

Summer is going to come every year. The best option is to learn to live with the heat using the magic of Naturopathy. Come to Nimba, free your mind and body from the pain, and enjoy the summer!

Life is precious and magical. Every living creature has the secret natural force dwelling inside. Embracing naturopathy gives overall protection and power to heal through the body’s own life forces. Naturopathy believes in the concept of curing the body without any medications. Integrating the physical, mental and spiritual aspects for being one with the nature is something which has been in practice for centuries. Naturopathy is the science of preventing and treating the disease and achieving a happy healthy body.

Correcting lifestyle with the help of nature in turn improves the body functions and enables the body to take care of itself. This is essential because, in most of the cases, the chronic problems arise due to careless neglect at the initial stages.

Natural remedies possess the capability to cure any disease and that too without any side effects. Mother Nature can provide solution for everything. Nimba Nature Cure Village is the unique union of Nature, Science and Ayurveda, in the lap of lush green landscapes.

Principles of Naturopathy

Naturopathy is rooted in the basic laws of the Nature. Our body can find ways to heal itself of most of the ailments. We just need to empower the body to build strong immunity and bring back the system to normalcy. Naturopathy treatment focuses on restoring the balance of five fundamental elements of Nature which are earth, water, fire, air and ether. This way, rather than removing merely symptoms, Naturopathy optimizes the body’s natural healing mechanisms.

Do Not Harm

There is absolutely no need for harmful chemicals and risky procedures. Instead, focusing on healthy dietary supplements and healing herbs combined with pranayama and yoga, can work magic. Sometimes the symptoms are body’s efforts to heal it. Naturopathy respects the uniqueness of every person, and different healing mechanism. Therefore it is necessary to customize the treatment according to the particular situation.

Identify & Treat Root Cause

In Naturopathy, the entire concentration is on removing the main problem. Suppressing the symptoms and not the root cause makes the disease resurface again and again. For example, upon sensing infection our body increases its temperature to kill the harmful microorganisms. In this case fever is not the problem, infection is. Naturopathic Physicians understand the symptoms and give treatment for eradicating the root cause of the disease.

Let the Nature Heal

Our body can heal on its own, we need to only find and remove the obstacles to this process. It is a very powerful inbuilt mechanism. Removing the toxins from body and supplying corrective natural remedies & diet facilitates self-healing mechanism.

Treat the Person as a Whole

Personal health depends on effect of so many physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental, social, sexual and spiritual factors. Every person exhibits a unique combination of these factors and this is why it’s important to scrutinize them all and then decide on the course of treatment. Naturopathic Physicians craft a personalized strategy for every patient.

Educate the Patients

Naturopathy involves holistic healing approach. The patient need to take a good physical and personal care by right diet, exercises and herbal medications. Naturopathic Physicians actually consider educating the patient as an important process. If the patients are aware of their disease condition, they can take responsibility to nurture the body and participate in the treatment process.

Prevent Illness

Prevention is always better than cure. A healthy lifestyle and proactive medications can help prevent future full of pain and discomfort. It also saves a lot of money spent for treatments and operations. Depending upon history of illness, heredity and habits, Naturopathic Physicians can detect vulnerability and advice for improving overall health. It reduces the risk of diseases to a great extent.

How to treat heart disease with healthy lifestyle and Naturopathy?

Treat heart disease with naturopathy

How to treat heart disease with healthy lifestyle and Naturopathy?

By: - March 2, 2017

Scared of your heart going slightly off rhythm? Is there a solution for a lifetime?

There is Nature. When a person takes enough care to eat and drink right and reduce stress, the heart can function for a longer time without problems. The Green Heart is a naturally healthy heart. The way nature has created it. Green doesn’t depict the color of the heart, rather it depicts the optimum health of heart. With adequate care and balanced nutrients, the heart can naturally heal itself from any condition.

Heart ailments are on the rise throughout the world despite the easy choice of Yoga and Naturopathy is available. Embracing naturopathy in life is like gifting a new heart to your body. There are few crucial changes required to avoid the risk of Heart Failure. Naturopathy and wellness centre like Nimba Nature Cure Village can guide you how to get a Green Heart through therapy and changes in lifestyle, as summarized below.

QUIT ALCOHOL/ TOBACCO/ DRUGS

because they damage the fine equilibrium of the body with excessive stress. Smoking increases blood pressure and heart rate. The toxins from tobacco put scars the blood vessels and plaque starts building up there. They create a Domino Effect in which one by one many organs are affected.

The risks of ‘Heart Diseases’ comes down significantly after quitting. It only requires a small initiation at a wellness retreat where you can effectively stay away from the addiction, detox and your heart would actually feel the difference.

LIVE HAPPY AND STRESSFREE LIFESTYLE

because stress and hypertension would only speed up damage to the blood vessels. Also, resorting to smoking and drinking for stress relief would damage the body even more. Inadequate sleep, Stress and Hyper tension and overeating due to habit or boredom, increase the risk of stroke and heart attack.

Selecting other better alternative modes of stress relief like walking, exercise, yoga & meditation, would reduce the risk to a great extent. A peaceful sleep also refreshes the body and reduces stress. These Activities strengthen the functioning and help to avoid other diseases like Diabetes, Stroke and Hypertension.

EAT HEALTHY AND NATURAL FOOD

because your body has the ability to heal itself and with a balanced diet, you can minimize the risks of Heart diseases and other associated diseases. Too much salt-sugar and fat in the diet results in blockade of arteries supplying blood to the heart.

Having a ‘Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension’ or DASH diet with fruits, vegetables, whole grains and low fat dairy products helps in maintaining optimum blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Avoid saturated fat and Trans fat through a Naturopathy diet under guidance of qualified medical practitioner.

LOSE EXCESSIVE WEIGHT AND GET FIT

because it leads to High blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart diseases. Metabolic syndrome characterized by accumulated fat around the abdomen is the chief symptom of obesity. The heart gets overload of work due to increased heart rate and blood pressure in the overweight people. Reducing weight relaxes heart and allows it to return back to normalcy.

Weight loss as little as 3 to 5% has been beneficial for the patients with higher BMI. If you have normal BMI than you should plan out to maintain the weight with proper diet, for a healthy future. Consult the expert to plan your meals and exercises as per Naturopathy.

DO CHECKUP AND EAT MEDICATIONS REGULARLY

because regular checkup and follow-ups are necessary to keep a tab on heart health and also to track the improvement in the condition. Screening for blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol are recommended at least once every year, if you are older than 40.

Only you can take care of your heart. Green Heart or Healthy Heart is not a myth. With appropriate lifestyle and environment, your heart can actually survive without any glitches. Naturopathy would lead you to a long, peaceful and energetic existence. Observe and understand nature, embrace nature and Naturopathy and feel a Green Heart inside you.
